1. Scope
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every message sent or received through your Account, to your use of the API, SMTP relay, dashboard and inbound mail, and to anyone you let use your credentials. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use Sendix to send, host, link to or receive content that:
- is illegal where it is sent or received, or promotes illegal activity;
- is phishing, impersonates another person, brand or organisation, or tries to obtain credentials or payment details by deception;
- contains or links to malware, spyware or other harmful code;
- sexually exploits minors, or is sexually explicit;
- incites violence, hatred or discrimination, or harasses or threatens anyone;
- promotes unlicensed gambling, unlicensed financial or investment services, pyramid schemes, “get rich quick” offers or fraudulent crypto-asset schemes;
- offers illegal drugs, prescription medicines without authorisation, weapons, counterfeit goods or other products whose sale is restricted by law;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others;
- is deceptive or misleading, including false headers, subject lines or sender information.
3. Consent and list quality
- Send transactional messages only to people who have an account, order, request or similar relationship with you, and only about that relationship.
- Send marketing or bulk messages only to people who gave clear, recorded consent to receive them from you, unless the law of the recipient’s country allows a narrower exception and you meet all of its conditions.
- Do not use purchased, rented, harvested, scraped, appended or shared lists, or lists collected for a different purpose or by another sender.
- Keep evidence of consent (when, how, and what the person agreed to) and give it to us on request.
- Remove addresses that hard-bounce, complain or unsubscribe. Sendix suppresses them automatically; do not try to work around suppressions.
- Do not send to role or trap addresses you collected without the owner’s action, and do not “mail test” lists of unknown origin.
4. Message requirements
- Use a verified domain you own and accurate From, Reply-To and header information.
- Identify yourself clearly. Marketing messages must also include a valid physical postal address where the law requires it (for example under CAN-SPAM).
- Every marketing or bulk message must contain a visible, working unsubscribe link and support one-click unsubscribe (List-Unsubscribe headers). Honour opt-outs immediately and in any case within the period the law requires.
- Subject lines and content must not be misleading about the sender, the purpose or the content of the message.
5. Commercial messages to recipients in Türkiye
Commercial electronic messages to recipients in Türkiye are governed by Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages. Among other things this means:
- you must obtain the recipient’s prior approval before sending commercial messages, except in the cases the regulation exempts (for example certain messages to merchants and tradespeople, which may be sent until they opt out);
- service providers that send commercial messages must register with the Message Management System (İleti Yönetim Sistemi – İYS), record approvals there and check İYS before sending to individuals;
- every commercial message must identify you and offer a free, easy way to refuse further messages, and refusals must be honoured within three business days;
- purely informational messages (such as order confirmations, password resets and account notices) are not commercial messages but must not contain promotional content.
You are solely responsible for complying with these rules. Sendix does not register with İYS or check İYS approvals on your behalf.
6. Prohibited use of the platform
- Sharing or selling API keys or SMTP credentials, or letting third parties send through your Account outside a feature built for that purpose.
- Creating multiple accounts, rotating domains or splitting traffic (“snowshoeing”) to avoid limits, reputation controls or suspensions.
- Probing, scanning or testing the security of Sendix without written permission (see our security page for responsible disclosure).
- Overloading the Service, circumventing rate limits, or interfering with other customers.
- Using inbound mail processing to collect mail for domains or addresses you are not authorised to receive for.
7. Sending health thresholds
We continuously measure bounce, complaint and spam-trap signals for every Account and domain. As a guide:
| Signal | Healthy | May trigger review or pause |
|---|---|---|
| Hard bounce rate | below 2% | above 5% |
| Spam complaint rate | below 0.1% | above 0.3% |
| Spam-trap hits | none | any repeated hits |
Mailbox providers apply their own, sometimes stricter, limits. Staying within the healthy range protects your deliverability and that of other customers.
8. Enforcement
Depending on the severity and whether the problem repeats, we may: contact you and ask for information or changes; throttle sending; pause a domain or API key; suspend the Account; or terminate the Account under the Terms. Obvious abuse such as phishing or malware leads to immediate suspension.
We explain the reason for any restriction unless the law prevents it, and restore sending once the issue is resolved. Where the law requires, we cooperate with competent authorities.
9. Reporting abuse
If you received unwanted email sent through Sendix, or you believe our Service is being misused, write to [email protected]. Please include the full message headers so we can identify the sender. We investigate every report.
